  Tuesday 01/10/24  Denotation & Connotation blog tasks: advert analysis 1) Write an analysis of the  WaterAid advert above  using denotation, connotation and analysis. What can you see? What are the deeper meanings in the advert? What does the advert communicate to the audience? How might an audience react after seeing the advert? Denotation:  what do you see? Connotation:  what is suggested? What does it mean? Analysis:  what is the effect on the audience? How is this effect created? 2) Now choose your  own choice of advert  from Google images. Save it to your documents, insert it into your blogpost and write an analysis using denotation and connotation, explaining what the advert is communicating to the audience. Media Language 1.Design Elements: What colours, fonts, and images are used in the poster? How do these choices set the tone of the movie? -I think the fonts stand out and make it like a exciting action movie and the characters putting that pose attracts people  Layout: How are the main characters or objects arranged in the poster? What effect does this have on the viewer? -there kicking which might mean it is a comedy action film. Symbolism: Are there any symbols or visual motifs in the poster? What do they represent? -there is A dice and might be testing there luck and the 2 is a dragon  Tagline: What is the tagline or slogan? How does it contribute to the overall message or theme of the movie? - "rush hour" they might be in a rush trying to complete a mission Framing and Composition: What do the positioning of characters and objects in the frame tell you about their roles or importance in the story? Industry Studio/Production Information: Is the name of the production compa
